1 Download the file
Grab the EPUB and remember where it lands. Usually your Downloads folder.
- Tap the button below to download the EPUB.
2 Plug in your e-reader
Most e-readers read EPUB as it comes: no apps, no converting. Kindle is the one exception. See the note at the bottom.
- Connect your e-reader to your computer with its charging cable.
- A box pops up on the reader asking to connect to your computer. Tap Connect.
- On your computer, a new drive appears, named after your reader. It shows up just like a USB stick. Open it.
3 Drag it across
- Drag the EPUB from your Downloads onto your e-reader.
- Safely eject your e-reader, then unplug the cable.
- Your reader shows Importing content for a second. Then open your library and there it is: Ready to devour.
Reading on a Kindle?
Kindles don't open EPUB files the same way. The easiest path is Amazon's free Send to Kindle. Upload the EPUB there and it arrives on your device wirelessly.
